Privacy Policy
Your privacy, plainly.
What Marianne Halvorsen's website collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Kept short on purpose.

01What I collect
Only what you choose to share, plus the basics any website needs to run.
- When you write to me: your name, email, the topic you pick and your message. For speaking inquiries, also your organization and event date.
- When you join a list (letters or the book list): your email address.
- When you book a call: Calendly collects your name, email, the time you choose and any answers you give.
- When you pay for a session or program: Stripe processes the payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never pass through or stay on this website. I receive your name, email, what you paid for and the amount, and the site emails you a welcome with the next steps once your payment is confirmed.
- Technical basics: the hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure, working and protected from spam. Page visits are counted anonymously, without cookies and without identifying you.
02How I use it
To reply to you, to arrange and prepare for our sessions, and to send the letters or updates you asked for.
I never sell, rent or trade your information, and I never share it for anyone else's marketing.
03Your coaching conversations
What you share in our sessions stays confidential. It is never collected or stored through this website.
04Services that help run this site
A few trusted providers handle parts of the work. Each only receives what it needs for its task.
- Vercel hosts the website and counts page visits anonymously (privacy policy).
- Resend delivers messages from the website's forms to my inbox (privacy policy).
- Calendly handles booking (privacy notice).
- Stripe handles payments securely, whether you pay online or by invoice (privacy policy).
Links to Instagram and LinkedIn only take you there when you click them. Nothing from those sites loads on these pages.
06How long I keep it
Messages are kept as long as we are in touch, and a reasonable time after. You can leave any list whenever you like, and I will remove your email straight away. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
07Your choices
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), the law gives you these rights. I honor them for everyone.
This site is not meant for children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
08Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. For any privacy question or request, write to me here.
